I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember. My first “published” book was a short story about fairies called “The Problem in Fairy Land.” The plot makes absolutely no sense but I remember being so proud to have a bound book of my own. I still have it to this day and it sits on my daughter’s bookshelf. 

Since then, my imagination has still run wild with a variety of tales and short stories. While I haven’t continued to write about fairies, there is no limit to what I’m willing to explore when it comes to my creative pursuits. 

I consider myself a lifetime student. I enjoy learning about creative writing and the different ways I can improve myself. My goal for Write With Flourish is to pass on some of what I’ve learned over the years to other writers. From what I learned during graduate school to a Pixar writing workshop, I help writers add more tools to their toolboxes so they can improve their skills.
